We can separate the coast of Thailand into 4 areas which are Southern (Andaman), Southern (Gulf of Thailand) side, Eastern side, and Western side. So, we can check the right season to visit because the weather, wave and wind on each locations are different throughout the year. Andaman Sea
A dream destination for tourists from every corner of the world. The best period to visit is from November to April. The weather is clear, no storm, calm wind and wave. The popular destinations of Thailand's Andaman sea are Phi Phi island – a well-known island where the movie "The Beach" was filmed in 2000. Similan islands and Surin islands are where abundant of marine life are preserved and it's a paradise for snorkeler and diver.
In addition, there are the other islands which are close to Phuket which are the Coral island (Koh Hey), Maiton island, Khai island and Racha island. These islands we can go by sailing yacht or speedboat which takes just about 30 minutes – 1.30 hours journey.
Southern Gulf of Thailand Coast
Gulf of Thailand is 58-meter depth in average, the color of sea water is jade and green which different from cyan and blue color of the Andaman sea. There are many popular islands such as Mo Koh Chumphon National Park, Tao island, Samui island, Pha-Ngan island, Khaosok and well-known separated beach of ‘Ta Lae Waek’ at Nangyuan island. Mo Koh Chumphon National Park is also known as ‘the most beautiful anemone spot of Thailand’. The best time to visit here is from April to October. You will not regret it when you arrive there! Worth to take a shot!

Eastern Coast
Sea of eastern coast of Thailand which is located not far from Bangkok. Taking only 2-3 hours drive and you will see a real beauty of the nature; clear water, many activities to do on the weekend vacation! The popular places are Larn island (The coral island), Pattaya beach, Sri-Chang island, Kood island and Chang island. These islands have many landmarks and spots for taking a photoshoot and pinned your location to show-off how an amazing holiday looks like! The best duration to be here is from November to April.

Northern Gulf of Thailand Coast
Only 2-3 hours drive heading west from Bangkok, you will arrive the weekend beach destination of Cha-Am , Hua Hin and Pranburi. The best period to visit there is from November to May. If you want to spend time and enjoy your valuable days with your family, these beaches are the best choice for you. This area is not the best place for spending a long vacation compare with other location, but it is a place relaxing on the beach for a short period then back to work!
