We were dubious about going here as we were told not to go anywhere where you came into contact with elephants but it was very good and it was explained that these elephants had never been in the wild and were in effect rescued and never ridden.
We bathed the elephants after feeding them and got very wet and messy ourselves, but the facilities are very good so you can get cleaned up and changed after.
The buffet was fabulous and throughout you had free drinks available as well as a short but informative talk on the elephants.
There are no gift shops, upsells or anything else whilst you are there, the upfront cost of getting there is all that you pay. Very clean, modern and friendly with lockers for valuables whilst you are with the elephants.
You can take pictures but they do take pictures of you all throughout and then you can access them later (for free) and download them.
Seems a genuine setup who care for the elephants and the people who have had the elephants all their lives.

Modern clean and caring with no extra costs

One of our favourite activities on our trip. This was recommended by a tour guide and we all thoroughly enjoyed it. In fact if we head back to Phuket we will do this again.

Everything at the facility is well run. They even have internet there. The amenities are kept spotless and you even get to have a tasty meal at the end.

Learning about the elephants and then getting to feed and wash them was very memorable. We would highly recommend this activity to anybody.

I lobed this experience. It was lovely to get up close with the elephants. I was very happy learning of how the animals were treated and cared for. Onenthingni notice was the environment was so clean. You couldnt even smell anything which show how well thenelephants are cared for. Also the sanctuary suppourts the elephant owners and their familiesm Bathing the elephants was fun. At the end we had an amazing thai lunch. Plus there are photographers that take photos of your experience for FREE. Thats su h a great extra touch.

Amazing experience

Such an amazing experience! The best thing we've done in Phuket. The Green Elephant Sanctuary Park is 100% ethical with elephants being themselves, without any chains or riding. The elephants are truly happy and the full experience is absolutely great. They explain you the history of the sanctuary and how everything works. You get to feed the elephants and bath them. Recommend 100%. Great initiative.

We really enjoyed our afternoon. Up close with the elephants was truly amazing. The talk was very informative and inspiring to see what they are accomplishing. I loved giving the elephant a mud rub and wash. Facilities to shower after were fantastic. 
 Refreshments and a light dinner was included.
