Good dim sum buffet
All You Can Eat Dim Sum Buffet serves everyday from 11.30-2.00. The price is reasonable, 449 net on weekdays and 499 net on weekends. There are plenty of food to choose - steamed items, fried items, soups, noodle, fried rice, cold-cut meat, fruits, ice-cream and desserts. Service is very good. You can request for a private room if you come as a large group.

Acceptable dim sum, as long as you don’t mind eating in a freezer
Bring a jacket if you’re eating at Fu Marn Lau. It’s so cold that you want to eat your meal and then leave as quickly as possible, before you freeze to death. And maybe that’s the management’s strategy ~ after all, quick table turnover means more customers and more profit. Anyway, the service is quick and the dim sum is good enough ~ not spectacular but good. Pay cash and you’ll get a small discount.

Don't go for dinner, it's a la carte and not good
We are staying for a few days at the Twin Tower hotel and we thought let's try one of the restaurants that is located in the hotel for dinner. After googling this restaurant, we only read good reviews about it. No menu to be seen or anything, only reviews about a buffet, not indicating if the reviews were about lunch or dinner. So we thought hey buffet and dim sum for dinner? We love that! Till we got there and got surprised, we got seated and we got a menu card that says a la carte. I asked the waiter about the buffet and she said that the buffet is only available for lunch. We still went for it because we wanted to try it out. We got both a set menu that costs 400 baht per person. The starter was a bamboo soup, which is alright with a pak soi, one half scallop, but the soup tasted like msg and there was no bamboo in it???. The appetiser was a pork/shrimp siu mai, you could taste the shrimp, don't see and taste the pork and this was the best of the set. The main course was fried noodles with 'seafood', well two shrimps that tasted like nothing and it was more like cha siew with a lot of bell peppers and chinese mushrooms, tasteless (picked the mushrooms out because of allergy). For dessert you get seasonal fruit (picture). The bothering thing was that all food came at once, when we got the soup, the appetiser and main course came as well. The soup was boiling hot and meanwhile our appetiser and main course were getting cold. When we finished the soup, we were eating the noodles. Then suddenly the waiter gave us a warm towel to clean our hands, which is weird because we have not finished our food. We also have a voucher from the hotel that says 10% off for food. We wanted to use it but the waiter inplied that we cannot use it for set menus, in which she could tell us beforehand because she knew we stayed at the hotel and I made a reservation with my hotel number and phone. So, the most shocking thing was the total cost. Two set menus were 800 baht in total, 1 mineral water (evian bottle 250ml) 90 baht and 1 glass cola 70 baht. The total was 1129, 92, they added 96 baht for service fee PLUS 7% VAT. It does not make any sense why 7% VAT is included. Do know that on every page it says 10% service charge on top of your bill, but the 7% VAT is nowhere to be seen. You had to write your name, room name, signature and as optional a tip. Well we did not give any tip since the food is horrible and the shocking costs that is added on top of your bill. Recommended for dinner? Nope, don't do it. The buffet lunch is all you can eat and costs 650 baht per person, on the internet I saw it for 500 baht but they changed the price.
