We had the most amazing experience at the Elephant Retirement Park! Fran our English speaking guide gave a great overview about the elephant’s, their mission and about how they rescued their elephants from entertainment, freighting and trekking. You can tell the carers really care about their Elephants as the elephants can leave anytime but chose to stay for cuddles, bananas and mud baths. Would recommend this to everyone! It really was a once in a life time experience. :)

Wir haben den halben Tag hier gebucht und es hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Es scheint wirklich im Vordergrund zu stehen, dass es den Elefanten gut geht und sie hier ein schönes „zweites“ Leben haben. Wir durften die Elefanten füttern, haben dann eine kurze Einführung bekommen und im Anschluss haben wir kleine „Medizin-Bällchen“ für die Elefanten gerollt. Diese konnten wir direkt in den Mund der Elefanten legen. Dann ging‘s ins Schlammbad mit den Elefanten. Das sind wirklich ganz tolle Tiere und wir hatten einen wunderschönen Vormittag!

Surely among the most meaningful experiences we made during our trip in Thailand. The organization has an admirable level of care for the elephants and for spreading awareness on their conditions. The pickup and drop off service is well organized and makes things really smooth. Highly suggested.

We did the half day experience. Tour included pick up and drop off. Make medicine for elephants, feed them, watch them swim, give them a mud bath, clean them. After they gave us lunch which was pad Thai, rice, mixed vegetables and sweet potato
