We took the 1.5 hour tour. We met all 5 elephants that were wondering around accompanied by trainers that looked out on them. The guide was very descriptive and knowledgeable. Last but not least, we got to prepare a snack meal (I.e. fruits and sugar canes) for the elephants. We were glad to spend our money in a place that places the elephants' needs first. However, I felt a little uncomfortable when they made an elephant stay (using bananas as an incentive) for us to have a photo with it.
