Chao Phraya Princess Dinner Cruise from ICONSIAM

This was our first time experiencing the dinner buffet with Royal Princess Cruise, and overall, we were quite pleased with the experience. However, we were expecting a cozy and relaxed evening, but the music and sound level turned out to be quite loud, making it difficult for us to have a pleasant conversation. The excessive noise was something we didn't appreciate, especially considering that it may not be ideal for those with young children or newborns.

Waiting to board felt like a cattle call. Finding my way to the registration desk was a bit tricky without being familiar with IconSiam’s layout. Once onboard the service was excellent. The food was above average; I wouldn’t say exceptional, but very good and plentiful, considering the number of people onboard. The wait in the buffet lines was not as long ad one would expect with such a large crowd. Once everyone had been through the lines it was easy to go back for seconds and thirds. The entertainment (vocalist and sax player) was enjoyable; people had the opportunity to dance and cut loose on the deck during the last 45 minutes of the cruise. i’d recommend this experience to anyone, and I’d choose the upper deck.
