Bangkok Package with Dinner Cruise and 4 stars hotel

This hotel is near Chinatown, 6 mins walk and 2 mins walk from the Golden Buddha temple (made of 5.5 tons of pure gold). 3 mins walk if you want to see Optimus Prime as it may have started as a joke but people come and worship this! 3 mins walk to Home Thai massage for 200 THB 60 mins for full body or just foot massage. Plenty to eat and see near Chinatown and I love the Mango sticky rice for a small it’s only 30 THB like 6p, I brought it back to the hotel on our first day to have with our welcome drinks, you have to use it by 9.30pm when you arrive and it’s like slushy flavour with jelly bits. Only one lift was working. The lobby is on the 12 floor, nice wide space and you can book tours with them. Breakfast is on the same 12 floor including the outdoor pool. There is a gym on the 14 floor and massage place but it was closed while we were there. You can take the metro blue line for 3 stops to see the reclining Buddha and grand palace. You can use your contactless on the blue metro line or buy a token. There room service was quick and towels replaced every day and free bottle of water provided every day. 7-11 just around the corner and we purchased a tourist SIM card there for 699 THB unlimited data for 15 days. Plenty of options for breakfast. Room with city view was great, plenty of space and lovely view of the city. The room could do with some updating but it was clean and fine to sleep in the bed. TV was rubbish as it was all fuzzy. I didn’t like the air on unit facing the bed which meant you have air blowing towards you when you was sleeping. It can get cold when you are trying to sleep! You can also hear the traffic and noise outside so the hotel provides ear plugs for you. There is always tuk tuk and motorbike outside offering you a ride to wherever you want. Just haggle to get a good price. Download Grab to book cab rides as it’s cheaper than local taxis which often turnoff their meters when you get inside. There is a children play area also on the 14th floor near the gym. There is a Starbucks and weed shop located as you come into the building. Inside the weed shop you can find a pool table, game console and bar. Be careful when you get to the grand palace as some people will tell you it’s closed and try to sell you a tuk tuk ride somewhere else. Although they are only asking for 200 THB they will wait for you and take you to wherever you want to go.

The Hotel has a great Location in central Bangkok. The staff in the reception is very kind and friendly. I booked a deluxe room with kingsize bed. It had a great with and was very comfortable. I can highly recommend the „The Quarter Hualamphong by UHG“.
