The view is great.
The food is acceptable, but nothing you can't get anywhere else.
But both my wife and I got violently sick after eating the salmon. 
We know it was the salmon as it was the only thing we both at together for the entire day.

My stomachache started even before we left, but the toilets were so incredibly dirty, I could not bring myself to use them.

We canceled all other plans for the evening and rushed to our hotel in a taxi. Even before I could run to the toilet, my wife was on it. The food came out at both ends.
After that it was my turn. Luckily I was spared the vomiting, but all food did exit in a rush.

I informed the restaurant, mostly to be helpful and prevent it from happening again, but their reaction was so rude and arrogant, I decided to write this review.

So, think twice before you go.

Great views, bad food-poisoning

Came with my partner to enjoy the viewing experience. I am vegetarian so was not expecting too much choice for myself as it is advertised as a steak and fish buffet. My partner thought the choice, quality and presentation to be good, I struggled to find much as anticipated, but the man making pizzas did me a margarita and brought it over to the table. Not much choice of salads or sides, but the deserts were quite nice. I wouldn’t really recommend for veggies, but the whole experience was actually enjoyable as we got to do the revolving viewing platform within the buffet price. Nice to eat with the view of the city too.

Nice experience, not outstanding food

0% recommend. lousy food (cold, not freshly prepared) unfriendly staff and many guests with really bad behavior!

After reading all the varied reviews (many not so favorable), I was not expecting much.  I'm happy to find that I was pleasantly surprised by the range and quality of the food offered.  Lots of choices, including grilled foods, noodles, pizza, sushi, seafood, desserts, and more.  Soft drinks included.  And, price includes access to the observation deck.  All in all, a nice outing!

Far exceeded my expectations!

Bangkok Sky Restaurant located on 76th and 78th floors of Baiyoke Sky Hotel. The breakfast buffet caters specialty Japanese, Thai, Indian, European, Chinese, and Vietnamese food.
The beautiful decor right next to the glass windows that offers you beautiful morning view of the city while having breakfast is a memorable experience. Even the service is impeccable – especially the service at the live counters where the chef would make your food exactly the way you like it.
