2. Hin Ta Hin Yai
Hin Ta and Hin Yai, also known as Grandfather and Grandmother Rocks, hold a significant place as landmarks on Koh Samui. Resembling male and female genitalia, these unique rock formations have become an immensely popular photo spot on the island. It's almost a rite of passage for anyone visiting Samui to capture a picture at Hin Ta and Hin Yai rocks.
3. The Big Buddha
Don't miss the opportunity to visit 'Wat Phra Yai' and marvel at the majestic, largest Buddha image in the southern region. Situated on Koh Fan, a small island near Koh Samui, this temple holds a significant presence. In the past, Koh Fan was surrounded by the sea, requiring a boat ride to reach Koh Phan. However, the resourceful villagers constructed a wooden bridge to connect the two islands. Yet, the bridge faced constant erosion from the sea, necessitating frequent rebuilding every 2-3 years.
4. Samui Aquarium & Tiger Zoo
It's the only zoo on Koh Samui that showcase various species animals such as tiger, parrot and many aquatic creatures.

Lamai Beach, a 4-kilometer stretch of shoreline, stands as one of the top destinations for tourists visiting Koh Samui seeking leisurely strolls along the coast. This crescent-shaped beach, while not boasting the same fine, white sand as the Andaman beaches, offers a unique and inviting atmosphere. Here, you can engage in various water sports, including jet skiing, sailing, and the exhilarating banana boat ride. Compared to the bustling Chaweng Beach, Lamai Beach exudes a quieter ambiance, making it an excellent choice for a relaxing beach walk or sunbathing session.

Experience the latest sensation that's impossible to resist! Koh Mudsum, also known as Koh Mu, has emerged as a sought-after tourist destination in recent times. Nestled in the southern part of Koh Samui, a short 15-25 minute ride on a traditional long-tailed boat from the local villagers will transport you to Koh Mudsum.
Once a quiet island primarily inhabited by fishermen, Koh Madsum has witnessed a surge in popularity thanks to the introduction of pig farming by the villagers. The thriving pig population has bestowed a distinctive charm upon this island, making it an enchanting and unique getaway. While the ambiance may not match the liveliness of Samui's renowned Chaweng Beach, Bophut Walking Street offers its own unique charm. Rather than bustling bars, the focus here is on delightful seafood restaurants where you can unwind and savor delectable dishes. Ang Thong Islands encompass a collection of picturesque isles, with the park office located at 'Koh Wua Ta Lap.' Here, you can embark on a rewarding hike to the breathtaking Pha Chan Charat viewpoint. Just a 500-meter walk uphill reveals a mesmerizing panorama, offering a glimpse of over 42 islands. This hidden gem stands as one of Thailand's most awe-inspiring and lesser-known viewpoints.
Another natural wonder to behold is 'Talay Nai' at Koh Mae Koh. This saltwater lake is formed by the collapse of limestone mountains and provides a kayaking paradise where you can admire the enchanting beauty of cascading cliffs.
However, the real highlight lies beneath the surface—snorkeling unveils a captivating world teeming with vibrant fish and mesmerizing coral formations.
